OUTLAW MUD AND THE MAJOR LEAGUE OF MUD RACING IN HAMILTON, MISSOURI - JULY 9 AND 10, 2010!

Hamilton july 9th and 10th- going to be a big show. two days of mud.

july10th features fast track and bog
3 classes on the fast track

friday night and saturday night- come camp out and have some fun, nice facility and nice guys helping to put it all on. The first race for the MAJOR LEAGUE OF MUD RACING SERIES WILL ALSO BE A PART OF THIS RACE. this race has been planned for several months, many sponsors and some great purses for select classes.

LOOKS LIKE THE SCHEDULE WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

friday night: all outlaw mud bog classes will run (no fast track) as well as two xmro classes side by side dble elimination with the tree from brookfield. on the side by side it will probably be stock and superstock classes

saturday night

FROM SCOTT "TEX" GRAHAM:

The Points System for Major League of Mud has been set & will be as follows:
1st Place = 100 points
2nd Place = 95 points
3rd Place = 90 points
4th Place = 85 points
5th Place = 80 points
6th Place = 75 points
7th Place = 70 points
8th Place = 65 points
9th Place = 60 points
10th Place = 55 points
11th Place = 50 points
12th Place = 45 points
13th Place = 40 points
14th Place = 35 points
15th Place = 30 points
16th Place = 25 points
17th Place or lower = 20 points
DQ = 10 points
DNR = 10 points (truck reports to staging, but does not break starting line)

There is no fee for joining the points series. Everyone who races will receive points for their participation, and everyone will have the opportunity to race for a championship. Your participation automatically enters you into the points series. Points cannot be transferred to another driver. Drivers racing multiple trucks within a single class cannot transfer points from one truck to another in an effort to improve their points position.

Classes in the points will be:
*38.5” Super Street (combination of Outlaw Mud “Stock” and “Super Stock” classes).
*50” Renegade (combination of Outlaw Mud “Modified” and “Supermod” classes).
*Open (combination of Outlaw Mud “Outlaw” and “Unlimited” classes).

Details about the classes will be forthcoming in another thread soon.

Race 1 will be July 9th & 10th in Hamilton, Missouri with the rest of the schedule to follow. Some events may feature additional classes (Hamilton will feature the entire Outlaw program along with timed & elimination Fast Track racing), but these 3 classes will be the ones racing for points.

Full results will be published ASAP after each event along with the current points standings. In addition, printed copies of the points standings will be available at the driver’s meetings at each event beginning with race #2.

See y’all in Hamilton July 9th and 10th!!!

NOTES FROM DUSTY DEGRAFFENRIED:

trying to nail it down but i think the purse for all the major leagues races will be set like this
open-$1000
renegade(outlaw muds mod-supermod)- $700
SUPER STREET(OUTLAW MUD SUPERSTOCK) $500
LETS SAY $30 ENTRY FEE

LETS ALSO SAY 20 TRUCKS ENTERED-HERE IS A POSSIBLE PURSE BREAKDOWN FOR RENEGADE
1ST 350
2ND 210
3RD 140

NOW TAKE THE ENTRY FEES AND BREAK IT DOWN LIKE THIS- 25%/15/10 THEN 10/10/10/10/10
SO NOW IM GONNA PAY OUT LIKE 8 PLACES IN THIS CLASS
1ST 500
2ND 300
3RD 200
4TH-8TH $60

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE FUN! I REALLY HOPE TO GET 20 PER CLASS TO START THIS OFF TO MAKE THIS WORK GOOD AND ALSO TO KEEP IT UNDER THE 3-4 HOUR TIMEFRAME THAT MANY FAIRS DESPARATELY WANT. HOPE YOU GUYS COME OUT TO THE RACES WHEN WE GET THEM ALL PLANNED. ALSO HOPE TO HAVE A FEW TRUCKS FROM EACH CLASS ON DISPLAY IN THE TRACK AREA BEFORE THE SHOW FOR PIT PARTIES/MEET THE DRIVERS TYPE OF THING AND EVEN DO DRIVER INTROS FOR THE TRUCKS ON DISPLAY. I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH TEX AND JASON ON THIS SERIES TRYING TO GET IF OFF THE GROUND. HELL WE MIGHT EVEN TAKE IT A STEP FURTHER AND EXPAND INTO HILL-N HOLE SOMEDAY. BUT FOR NOW THIS IS THE MIND SET OF THE MAJOR LEAGUE OF MUD RACING. LOOKING TO CROWN A BOG SERIES CHAMPION THIS YEAR- ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS SHOW UP AND ENTER AND RACE AND EARN POINTS WHICH TEX WILL TRACK AND POST HERE FOR ALL TO SEE. LOOKS LIKE 3-5 SHOWS THIS FIRST YEAR. I HOPE YOU GUYS AND GALS WILL TRY IT. I LOVE THE ALL NIGHTERS- BUT I WILL ALSO LOVE THESE HARD HITTING SHORTER SHOWS. WITH THE SMALLER SCALE SHOW I CAN MAKE IT MORE ABOUT THE RACERS AND THE TRUCKS AND DEVELOP A FAN BASE FOR EACH ONE AND THE SPORT.

AREAS WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING AT: into oklahoma were talking about dday or miami,ok kansas badlands is the furthest west the rest will be close to kc and the 1 or two in east mo- closer to mid missouri most likley. this will be a good thing. a high impact shorter show with a good purse and following.

we hope to grow this into a bigger series next year. right now working on some more dates and a few heavy hitter sponsors. wont it be cool to be the champ!!

FROM SCOTT LEMMON: GREAT THINGS IN THE WORKS!

Lots of great opportunities can come out of the Major League of Mud Racing.

Nothing is going to be perfect. There is always going to be a rule someone does not like. A location someone might not want to travel too. The event dates, especially as things get started, may not be able to layout all at one time. But there will be a lot of benefits to pushing through the little stuff and looking at the bigger picture. And it is free to join the League. No downside to that.

Dusty has been telling me about the concept for quite a long time. It may be a little different of series than what everyone is use too, but each idea really meets the need for an opportunity to take the sport to new levels. A chance for safer shows, safer courses, bigger payouts, more sponsors. Opportunities that can only exist with everyone's support to push it forward. And there are already a lot of people working together to make this happen. I know Tex has invested a lot of time as well.

With support, I really think the Major League of Mud can grow into something great. Great for the racers who want to participate and make the sport better and better. Create more opportunties for the Major League of Mud and even more importantly, more opportunities for racers themselves individually.

Just like the USA Mud Racing Magazine.....in the end it is all about you racers and fans and it only exists through your support. And you have the power to make something really great!
